Overview

All of our sites are developed and maintained using our extensive knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS enables us to rapidly change the look and feel of almost all of each sites' contents without the need to access and change each individual page. We utilize the full power of CSS for properly identifying, sizing, styling, and applying special effects to all site content.

This includes text, menus, images, forms, etc. This helps to alleviate the need to generate new sets of code and images, and changing code on every page for minor size, placement, or style changes. 

As illustrated in the Master Skillset Table our group possesses an inherent knowledge in almost every type of common software. Your sites' source files, no matter what the origin can be readily converted and modified for inclusion into your new site. Also any data or content generated by other non-web programs can easily be modified or converted for use in your new or updated website. Most office-type programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, QuickBooks, and WordPerfect, feature export functions that can generate modifiable web content.

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) Tools 

Our HTML tools of choice are simple text editing programs such as NotePad and Super NoteTab. We use these type of text editors as our primary development tool for a number of reasons. The primary reason is that we need to write or modify the actual code (HTML, CSS, Java Scripts, VB Script, etc.) used to generate the viewable site to ensure proper coding technique in support of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Another reason our group typically relies on plain text editors is that we refuse to be limited to the capabilities and features of any particular HTML WSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) software program. Instead, we prefer that the quality and uniqueness of final product only be limited by our imagination and our technical abilities, not a particular software program or whoever wrote that program. Yet another reason we don't rely on WSIWYGs is that the code generated usually requires modification for our purposes.

Examples include viewing site maps, generating image maps, creating Flash content including movies and banners, creating image-intense menus, verifying CSS attribute use, site management/FTP, etc. Programs we commonly employ include:

We have to ability to create or modify website grapics using almost any commonly used graphics software. Graphic source files can be rapidly converted into files for a different editing program and web-presentable online images. Website Templates

We can also employ web templates as tools to create your page content for presentation on the web, and for mass-production of multiple, large websites. We can use these templates to set up almost any type of website. In their simplest sense, a web template operates similarly to a form letter for use in setting up a website. Once a template is provided to us (either by purchase, downloaded, or on-line), we can replace all the generic information included in the web template with your own personal, organizational or product information. Templates can be used to create all of the following and more:

° Create your own personal, organization, or business blog.
° Sell products on-line in with applications such as shopping carts.
° Display background, history,and product information about your company or organization.
° Display galleries of photos pertaining to your products or services.
° Placing music and other media files on line for play via your web site.

Not all of our clients have the need, willingness or ability to hire web designers/developers to create a completely unique website/system for their individual needs. Additionally, some may wish to maintain their site 'in-house' once the site is developed, with limited technical proficiency in coding HTML later. For these clients, web templates not only shorten total development time, but offer an option that may be a much better Return-On-Investment.
